Description
MUTINIES IN RAJPOOTANA:BEING A PERSONAL NARRATIVE OF THE MUTINY AT USSEERABAD, WITH SUBSEQUENT RESIDENCE AT JODHPOKE, AND JOURNEY ACROSS THE DESERT INTO SIND,
I must solicit the indulgence of the public for any shortcomings in the following narrative, as it will not have the advantage of the author's supervision
while going through the press . I may take this opportunity of stating that, if the public are sufficiently interested in Rajputana matters to afforded the necessary engouement, I intend to bring out a second volume, containing an account of the military operations in Rajputana and Central India when the army of retribution took the field.
