حضرت جهان پناه سلامت

به‌عزّ عرض می رساند

در بدایت جال که تنخواه دو اطفال یعنی میرزا محمّد شاه رضی الله و میرزا عنی الملک و نشاهره حرمات به علت فولی و سکونت پذیری بعضی از آنها بیرون قلعه مبارک در شهر که منجمله یک هزار پانصد بسب روپیه با تقرر ورثای میرزا محمد دارا بخت ولیعهد بهادر مرحوم وضعات گردید. غلامان به سبب بی‌اولادی آنها و اینکه در آن زمان مقدمة میرزا ایرج بخش میرودر پیش بود سکوت ورزیدند که بعد انفصال آن مقدمه اجقاق خود جلوه ظهور گرفت که انعقاد واقعه هایله ارتحال برادر عزیز میرزا عمر شیخ بهادر مرحوم در پیش آمد. منجمله یک صد سی روپیه مشاهره مرحوم مذکور حسب استغاثة منکوحه‌شان بنا بر ....... روپیه به نام آن و بعد تولید دختر از بطن حاملة مرحوم مسطور که مستحق کل ترکه تنخواه پدر به همه جهت بست روپیه به نامش مقرر گردید. ظهور این معنی موجب صد گونه حسرت و افسوس گشت. زیرا که بسر برو معیشت حمله اهل این خاندان تحدت نشان بر ماهیگی تنخواه ذاتی و موروثی است و از ابتدای عملداری سرکار چه ما تقرر انگریزی که عطیة سلطانی به نام هر کسی که مقرر شد نسلاً نسل و بطناً هر پسر و دختر و نبایر و نبایس او جاری و ساری است و گاهی چنان نشده که با وحود موجود بودن مشاهره کسی از اهل این خاندان به حیز انضباط در آمده باشد و اینکه با وصف تولد شدن دختر که شرعاً و عرفاً بل در تمامی مذاهب و ملل وارث قوی و مستحق یافتگی متروکة تنخواه پدر گردیده و نحریر وضعات مشاهرة مرحوم مذکور از همچو حکام نصفت پرور معدلت گستر خیلی بعید بلکه اکری عجیب و غریب است

غلامان می خواستند که عرض حال بر اختلال خود به‌حضور بندگان دارا دربان نموده جهة ارقام یافتن شقّة خاص مکرمت اختصاص به‌نام فرزند ارجمند سلطانی معظّم الدوله بهادر و ارتسام پذیرفتن وثیقه اقدس به‌نام عمدة الزمانی عظّام اسوة نوئینان بلند مقام عالی مرتبت معالی منصب لفتنت گورنر بهادر اگره معروض داریم که حادثة تازه انتقال مسمّات فرّخ محل ارتو؟ رئیس مورث در پیش آمده تنخواهش سر ما همه موجود بودن دختر بطنی وضعات پذیرفت. از وقوع این معنی تردّد بر تردّد رو نمود و حسرت بر حسرت افزود و موجب مزید تحیّر و تحیّر آنکه ظاهراً دریافت شد که که فرزند ارجمند سلطانی در ترسیل رپورت این مقدمه به صدر علبی قدر تأمّل می نمائید بر رأی حضور پر نور که آئینة جهان نماست به‌خوبی روشن که در بدو جلوس میمنت مانوس بر اورنگ خلافت و جهانبانی جمله فرزندان خاص علیٰ قدر مراتب به‌تقرر مواجب پیش قرار خصوص؟ میرزا شاهرخ بهادر معیّن چهار هزار روپیه ماهیانه که الی الان به نام اولاد امجادشان دو هزار روپیه جاری است کامیاب گشتند و مهین پور سلطنت میرزا محمّد دارابخت بهدر مورث ما غلامان به سبب مقرر شدن پنجهزار روپیه با تقرر ولیعهدی از معیّن تنخواه عطیةشاهی قاطیناً؟ محروم ماندند

اگر فراخور رتبه به نام مورث ما نیز از عطیة سلطانی معیّن می گشت امروز بر کار غلامان می آمد و آن پنجهزار روپیه به مجرّد انتقال مبرور موصوف موقوف گشته. به هر حال آنچه یک هزار پانصد بست روپیه عمدة امرای محتشم الله بر آن مکتفی شاکر بوده به دعای دوام دولت سلطنت حصه؟ موظف و مشمول بودیم. الحال که بالعکس سر رشته انگریزی و پادشاهی ما وجود موجود بودن اولاد دست قطع دیر به دیر تنخواه اموات این علاقه دراز گشته صورت بسر و برو شست. غلامان را و اولاد غلامان به فقدان معیشت به نان شبینه پریشان و محناج خواهند گشنت. از آنجا که غلامان به شرف توسل دامن دولت حضور از اکتساب روزگار و دیگر ....وری مجبوراند و را این تنخواه از نوقعات نرکه پدری که ما فی الحال باعث رفاه و فلاح بوده است در کل مایوس. لهذا الله وار تفصیلات بادشاهی نظر ترحم بر یتمی و بیکسی غلامان به دل امیدوار درین خصوص شقه خاص به نام بهادر موصوف و و وثیقه والا به نام عمده امرای معزالیه مشرف ارقام پذیرد. الله والی است که بهادر موصوف به ادراک این نهمت به مال واجب از راه مروت و اخلاص در ترسل رپورت این مفدمه به صدر عالی مقدار دریغ نخواهد بود و امرای مسبوق الاوصاف نیز به اقتضای نصفت پروری و علو همنی خسروی و تصحیح بر معیشت به ملازمان روا بداشته برای اجرای تنخواه اموات ذی اولاد که وضع گردیده امر مبرم حکم با طی

 

English Translation:

Your Majesty,

The protector of the world wish you to be safe and sound. Respectfully this is mentioned that the beginning the stipend by him – and Mirza a’inul Mulk and the monthly stipend of the chaste ladies was fixed one thousand five hundrer twenty rupees, with their commitment that they would take their abode outside of the exalted fort. This included the stipend of the heirs of the late Mirza Mohammad Dara Bakht Bahadur, the heir apparent. As we, the humble servants are the issueless person and beside that the case of Mirza Iraj Bakhsh Miru was in the process at the court therefore, we kept silent. When the case was decided there came in limelight the case of our rights. When this suit was filed, there happened the death of our dear brother Mirza Umar Shaykh Bahadur.

 

On the whole, one hundred rupees monthly stipend was paid to this lawful wife after his death. But when a female child was given birth by that lawful wife, as amount of only twenty rupees was fixed for her, as she waws the only heir of the father. This decision became the cause of hundreds kind of sorrow and decision became the cause of hundreds kind of sorrow and regret. Because, this is the amount paid as stipend is to meet the living expenses of the whole united family. This stipend was fixed in the name of every person individually and decided to be paid generation after generation to the sons and the daughters, then their male and female grand children. This never happened that this monthly stipend was detained under any rule and regulation.

 

This is also quiet evident that a girl in all religions is heir according to religious and common law. She is strongly deserving heir of the stipend of her deceased father. This seems quiet strange and surprising of detaining her right by the justice like ruling officers. This disliking seems to be far beyond by them. We the humble servants, have mentioned our deteriorated conditioned to that lord, whose gate keeper is Darius. Now, we petition to the lieutenant governor of Agra to issue order for continuing the sacred stipend in the name of the Umdat-ul Zamem. The distinguished grand lady and to the grand prince Mo’azzam ul Doula, the grand noble of high rank. This happened in the mean while that there occurred the event of the expiry the lady, namely Farrukh Mahal, the chief heiress. Her stipend amount got approved but with deduction. Though had a girl, born by her.

 

By occurring the events of such kind there added perplexity over the other. There was regret over regret one after the other. This caused amazement and surprising over all the others. This is that the respected son who is the direct descendant of the royal family is the hesitant to send the report of this case to the president, the rank holder of excellent dignity. This is fully evident upon your mirror like shining mind – in which can be seen the happening of the world – That since the time of accession, familiar to of all blissfulness on the throne of Caliphate and ruling the world, the stipend of all the children was fixed already fixed according to their rank and status, particularly of Mirza Shah Rukh, whose monthly stipend was fixed four thousand rupees. At present the his hugely laudable children are successful to obtain two thousand rupees per month. The eldest son of the royal family, namely Mohammad Dara Bakht Bahadur was fixed five thousand rupees. But, we the obedient servants, who are his descendants are completely deprived of that royal grant.

 

If the stipend from the royal grant would have been fixed according to the rank, for us, the obedient servants according the rank that could be useful for us. The amount of expiry of the aforesaid person. Anyhow, the amount of one thousand five hundred twenty rupees that we are getting, we are contented on that are grateful for that. With that we wish and pray for the continuing lasting for the rule of the Sultanate and feel our duty to pray for that. At present, contrary to the past, whether it is the British ruler on the rule of the royal dynasty, the descendants of the deceased of the deceased person has caused delay to pay the stipend to their heirs. If that condition continued, we the obedient slaves and the children of us the obedient slaves would have no means of living and they would be needful even for the bread that is left over after the last night meal/ dinner. Now, we the obedient servants , have sought your help to meet our daily expenses and the other requirements. For which we are bound to make earnest request to continue or ancestral stipend. That would be the cause of our comfort and well being. Being completely disappointed we request, for the sake of God Almighty to have mercy upon us, the orphans and helpless. It is hoped that the note would be issued in the name of the aforesaid Bahadur and the valuable stipend would be paid to his aforesaid most chosen noble. By the grace of God almighty, case of the aforesaid Bahadur, would not be refused and the amount that is due to be paid would be reported by the means of kindness and sincerity. The chiefs to being kind and merciful would take mindedness. They would approve the means of substance of these obedient servants and would continue the stipend of the deceased ones.
