ln learning Multani and Biluchi, dialects without any written literature, l found that listening to stories was the easiest and most interesting method of study ; and gradually came to write down the Multani stories, at first for my own benefit only, and afterwards in the hope that they might also be of use to others interested in the people of the Multan Province and their language.
