Here is Delhi: A guidebook with history and maps by D O'Sullivan, was published in the year 1920. The book is divided into four chapters. The author begins by talking about the origin of Delhi, the Kingdoms which existed in the past like the Khiljis, Tughlaq, Timur, Sayyids, Lodis, Mughals from Babur to Bahadur Shah Zafar, to the East India Company. The writer then goes on to talk about the seven Delhis, that is Old Delhi, Siri, Jahanpanah, Tughlakabad, Firozabad, Purana Qila, and Shahjahanabad. The book mentions The Potter's Theme which includes the roads towards Kutub, Kadam Sharif, Safdar Jung's Tomb, Humayun's tomb, Nizamuddin Village, and various other memorials. Mr Sullivan gives his understanding of Modern Delhi which is The Ridge and Civil Lines. The book concludes with the First war of Independence and the Peacock Throne.
