Description
The great ufefulnefs of the forms of herkern , and the fearcity of the work, determined the Editor to reprint it in its present form; but with respect to the first edition, it may be necessary to observe, that it was printed in a type which exactly resembled the Persian ta leek hand, as mentioned in the author's preface ; but fince MR. Wilkins's type is not to be found in any printing office in England, we have substituted the Nustaleek, which is an imitation of another beautiful hand used by the Persians, in many of their most celebrated works.
