Description
THE reasons for including reproductions of the illustrations of the Raznama in the memorials of the jeypore Exhibitions are given at length at page 3 of the Introduction. It is only necessary to state here that the “text is Avery condensed abridgement of printed and manuscript translations of the great epic. The plates are about half the size of those in the original work. Two have been carefully reproduced in color, in order "that some idea may be formed of’ the beauty of the finished paintings.
