DESCRIPTION

Bahadur Shah II's crown, c. 1825-50 Royal Collection Trust Ongoing exhibition at the British Library, London: Enter the world of the Mughals, one of the world's great dynasties, in our new major exhibition. At its peak, the Mughal Empire stretched from Kabul in the northwest and covered most of the South Asian subcontinent. This exhibition is the first to document the entire period, from the 16th to the 19th centuries, through more than 200 exquisite objects.

Very good information.

MUGHAL IMAGES

The Mughal Images immediately took a much greater interest in realistic portraiture than was typical of Persian miniatures. Animals and plants were the main subject of many miniatures for albums and were more realistically depicted. To upload your images click here.
