British Library, London, Add.Or.2598 particularly struck by the nautch girl Malaguire or Malliyagir and had portraits painted of her in u hich almost for the first time in Indian painting the subject looks boldly out at the viewer, ucll as of other famous dancing girls of Delhi (Archer and Falk, figs 15, 124-28).
