DESCRIPTION

Photograph of ruins of Gaur. This photograph shows the tomb of Fateh Khan, a 17th century nobleman who was associated with the Mughal Emperor Shah Shuja. The tomb is interesting architecturally as, according to Asher it appears to be the first example of a Mughal structure with this type of sloped bangala roof in Bengal.
