COLLECTIONS Asia CLASSIFICATIONS Paintings INSCRIPTIONS Inscription in front: Seal in French: "Exposition D'Art Musalman" with date, partially obscured: "18_3". PROVENANCE Given by Denman Waldo Ross in 1907; purchased from Vignier of Paris; stamp on painting lists its inclusion in French exhibition of Indian art with obscured 19th-century date.
