THE DELHI MADRASSA OF GHAZIUDDIN KHAN, by Sita Ram, 1815. From the albums of drawings done by Sita Ram for Lord Hastings 1814-15. The double-storeyed buildings are constructed on two sides of a large courtvard with a central fountain which is entered through an imposing red sandstone gateway, while a mosque and the founder's tomb closes off the western side.
