The sea where the king dropped his ring is represented here as a walled pool. DESCRIPTION The prince presents a signet ring to the seated king. The king had previously dropped the ring while fishing in the sea and tasked the prince with recovering it. The prince’s servant, Muhklis, who is a frog in human form, transformed himself and saved the valuable jewelry. Mukhlis himself is visible in the dark waters on the right.
