Fig. 28: VIFT OF THE PALACE FROM THE LAHORE GATE, by Sita Ram, 1815. Either the visit was very hurried or the awe and majesty which Sita Ram felt emanating trom the Qila-i Mubarik was too much for him, since this view is hardly accurate except for the top of the great arcaded chatta in front of him and the gardens on either side of it.
