The marble screen with its beautiful jalis contains imperial Mughal tombs, including Bahadur Shah I, Shah Alam II, and Akbar II, while a grave was also prepared for Bahadur Shah II who still lies in exile in Rangoon. Beyond is the Moti Masjid built by Bahadur Shah I (1707-12) around 1709, at the dargah of Qutb Sahib a Mehrauli. The viewpoint echoes that of Sita Ram in 1815 (see fig. 54).
