Description
The Mughal Empire was established in India in the 16th century. It was one of the biggest, most organized and centralized Empires of its time. It was a huge establishment which embodied several institutions within it. Similar to Mansabdari and Jagirdari the Harem was also one of the most important institutions. In fact, it was the most secure place in the Mughal establishment.
