Abd al-Muṭṭalib ibn Ghalib ibn Musaid‎; 1790 – 29 January 1886) served three times as Emir and Grand Sharif of Mecca: First in 1827, then 1851 to 1856, and finally 1880 to 1881. This study deals with the personality of the Emir of Makkah Al-Mukarramah Al-Sharif Abd Al-Muttalib bin Ghaleb bin Musaed Al Zayd, He took over the emirate for three different periods The first was in the year (1827 AD / 1243 AH), and the second was in the year (1850-1856 AD / 1267-1273 AH), while the third and last year was (1880-1882 AD / 1298-1300 AH), which is the period that the study focuses on, in which it relied mainly on British documents that Showed the new vision of the subject of the study.
