Description
Mughal rule in India is famous for its display of exorbitant wealth, grandeur of architecture, and development of aesthetic tastes. However, there is also a general view that the Mughal government showed apathy, if not antipathy, towards learning and education. It displayed no enthusiasm towards development of education in general and science and technology in particular.
